Obama's Inauguration Speech was very strong, and clearly delivered to audiences' mind. He let all audiences believed in him on his promises and goals for future U.S.A..
For sure, there are lots of similarities in his speeches. For example, he uses repetitions a lot to grab audience attention on what is he going to do or what was done by George W. Bush in the past eight years. "That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet." Besides that, most of his speeches ends with "Thank you. God bless you. And God bless the United States of America."
The difference between this speech and his other speeches is that his inauguration speech start with his thankful to the ex-president, Bush. But his other speeches start with the introducing his family then saying things bad about Bush, and McCain.
